Samara (she/her) is a Director on the Jewish Community Impact Team and an Executive Coach at Third Plateau, where she utilizes a community and relationship-centered approach to support organizations and changemakers to elevate their impact.
Samara Leader has spent over a decade in the Jewish non-profit sector, working and learning in a variety of organizations including camps, youth movements, synagogues, and federations. Her past responsibilities have included spearheading listening campaigns to greater understand the needs of constituents, evaluating systems to better align with organizational strategy, navigating staff through institutional change, and using metrics-based goal-setting to quantify impact.
Samara holds a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Innovation from the Zelikow School of Nonprofit Management. She completed executive coach training through the Co-Active Training Institute in San Rafael, CA. Samara currently resides in the Bay Area, where she hikes whenever she can, attends as many sporting events, shows, and concerts as possible, and dances her stress away.
