Jill Kauffman (she/her) is a Grants Manager at Third Plateau, administering grants for philanthropic management clients, managing and enhancing grant systems, and collaborating with the team on strategic initiatives.

Jill was previously the grants manager at a community foundation in Pennsylvania, where she oversaw the grants administration process and worked to ensure compliance and efficiency. She played a key role in implementing a new grants management software, supporting the foundation’s conversion from a private foundation to a community foundation. Prior to her time at the foundation, she worked for several years in communications and development at an environmental nonprofit.

Jill holds a B.S. in Mass Communication from Mansfield University, where she also minored in Environmental Studies. She enjoys all things outdoors, especially hiking and bicycling. Having already visited 16 of the U.S. National Parks, she plans to visit them all.
