Emily serves as Vice President at Third Plateau, partnering with visionary philanthropists and community organizations to architect strategies and launch programs that expand opportunity and strengthen communities.

Emily has more than 25 years of experience in the social impact sector and has worked as a philanthropic advisor for the past 15 years. Before joining Third Plateau, she spent more than ten years at Museum Management Consultants, where she delivered strategic planning, evaluation, and executive search services to more than fifty museums, theaters, parks, and foundations in the United States. She also spent two years as Development Director of the Jamestown Community Center, an award-winning youth development agency in San Francisco’s Mission District. She began her career supporting the Director and Board of Trustees at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

Emily holds an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University and a B.A. from Pomona College. She is an advocate for nonprofit sabbaticals and also serves as the Executive Director of the O2 Sabbatical Award.
