Known on the financial management and accounting team as the Zen Master of Profit, Amy provides external Chief Financial Officer services to Third Plateau clients with a calm, steady expertise that spans industries and sectors. She began her career with a decade in public accounting, working with small businesses and medical practices, before serving for seven years as Executive Director of a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. That experience ultimately brought her back to her true passion: accounting and working closely with mission-driven organizations.

Since joining the financial services field full-time, Amy has focused on helping organizations turn financial data into meaningful strategy and practical action. She partners with organizations and small businesses to strengthen financial operations, improve decision-making, and build long-term sustainability. She specializes in fractional CFO services, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, operational process improvement, and strategic financial planning. Her work focuses on creating clarity, strengthening systems, and helping leadership teams make confident financial decisions.

Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an accounting focus, as well as her MBA with honors, from Troy University. She lives in Alabama with her husband, her two Yorkshire Terriers, Daisy and Max, as well as their cat Lucy. When she’s not working, you can find her camping, running, reading, and trying out new recipes.
