Elena (she/her) is a Director on the Research & Evaluation team at Third Plateau. She leads mixed-methods research and evaluation projects, supporting organizational learning and data-informed decision making. She is passionate about utilizing creative, participatory processes to inform change and is committed to taking a community-centered approach to research and evaluation.
Elena joins the firm with over a decade of experience supporting organizations that center arts education, community building, civic engagement, and social justice. She has served as a teaching artist, program director, and evaluation consultant for educational nonprofits and government agencies across four different countries. Elena holds a B.A. in Visual and Media Arts from Emerson College and an M.F.A. in Arts Leadership from Seattle University.
Outside of work, Elena is a consumer of interdisciplinary information with a thirst for intellectual debate. She enjoys participating in Jewish communal life, frolicking the Pacific Northwest with her partner and pup, working on various art projects, and night-time snacking.
